Crowe Clark Whitehill has become the new internal auditors to Douglas Borough Council.

Director Phaedra Bird signed the Internal Audit Charter on behalf of Crowe Clark Whitehill and Deputy Mayor Councillor Jon Joughin on behalf of Douglas Borough Council. Among the civic party was Council Leader Councillor David Christian MBE JP who said the signing marked the beginning of ‘a great opportunity to develop a new business relationship and would support the Council’s strategy to put in place robust internal control mechanisms, a key Corporate Governance Principle.’

Ms Bird said: ‘We are pleased to have been selected by Douglas Borough Council to provide internal audit services.
