Sheltered Housing

Hazel Court sheltered housing complex Hazel Court sheltered housing complex

Sheltered housing gives tenants an opportunity to live in an environment where they can retain their independence and look after themselves but, at the same time, have the additional security of help and advice when needed.

Residents of sheltered housing complexes still need the support and care of relatives and friends. The sheltered housing officer has responsibilities to a number of people and cannot replace this vital support.

A sheltered housing officer is normally on site at each of the sheltered complexes from 09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday and from 09:00 to 16:30 on Friday. When the sheltered housing officer is not on site cover is provided by an emergency alarm system.

Our sheltered housing officers are more than happy to arrange for you to visit the complexes at a mutually agreed time.
