The Council provides and operates children’s play areas which have been designed and built to actively encourage safe playing and the development of social skills.
All the Council's play areas are kept to a high standard of quality, safety and maintenance.

The play areas are located in the following locations:

- Ballaughton Park;
- Cooil Road;
- Governors Hill;
- Loch Promenade;
- Noble’s Park;
- Noble’s Plot;

- Queens Gardens (Centenary Gardens);
- Westmoreland Road;
- Willaston.
All the Council's playgrounds are strictly no dogs allowed and non-smoking.
