Disabled Facilities

The Council and the Isle of Man Government have worked with DisabledGo since February 2006, providing a great support service for residents and visitors to the Island. Together we are moving towards making the Isle of Man as friendly as possible for people with a disability.

Car Parking

Dedicated disabled public parking is available throughout the town.  The Council-operated car parks also provide a number of disabled car parking spaces free of charge. For more information on how to apply for the disabled access card please see the 'Car Parks' section (link on the right).

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I need a key to use disabled facilities?

For some disabled toilets, namely public facilities, a key will be required for the use of disabled toilets. These RADAR toilet keys are available from the Town Hall and Circa Shopmobility. Toilets in buildings, such as the library, however, do not require a key for access.
