Ongoing Vandalism at Public Toilets

Continued vandalism has led to the closure of some toilets in Douglas – on the Promenade and in Noble’s Park.

Douglas Borough Council has finally been given the green light to progress repairs to the Promenade Marine Gardens, it has confirmed.

A memorial service for the Summerland fire tragedy will be held next week.

The car built specially for an iconic Royal tour will be among the star attractions at this week’s Douglas Carnival.

This summer children aged 4-11 can visit The Henry Bloom Noble Library on Duke Street, Douglas, to get involved in a science and innovation themed Summer Reading Challenge.
