Douglas sets rate at 509p for 2023-24

Rate set against series of financial pressures, including inflation, soaring energy prices and considerable interest rates and Energy from Waste disposal fees.

Douglas Borough Council has paid tribute to a popular figure who devoted almost half a century of his life to the capital.
