His Worship the Mayor, Councillor Stan Cain, together with the Mayoress, Mrs Sheila Cain, joined in the fun at a Summer Reading Challenge activity session at the Henry Bloom Noble Library.
The session, themed 'The Monster and Mermaid Maze', is part of this year's challenge, the Mythical Maze, and was organised by senior library assistant Shirley Moore, pictured above left.
For the seventh year in succession the Summer Reading Challenge is being sponsored by Scottish Widows.
