Thursday, 26 June 2014 12:55

As part of its support for Island of Culture the Henry Bloom Noble Library hosted a talk by Mike Quayle about his travels in Nepal. The audience heard about his work with The Pahar Trust Nepal, an educational and school-building charity, and how fundraising has led to 50 schools being built, with children having to walk up to two hours to and from the school every day.
