Cross-gartered yellow stockings, a body in the bathhouse and a big red india-rubber ball will all feature in an evening of cautionary tales in poetry and prose at the Henry Bloom Noble Library.
Performance group Voices, regular guest artists at the library, will be entertaining the audience on Wednesday January 30th with a selection of readings from a broad range of writers including Roald Dahl, AA Milne, Lindsey Davis and PG Wodehouse.
The evening starts at 7.30pm and is expected to finish around 9.30pm.
Refreshments will be provided and free tickets can be obtained in advance from the library’s ground floor reception counter.
