The crew from HMS Vigilant, together with guests from Ballymoney, the Northern Ireland town with which Douglas is twinned, attended a reception at Douglas town hall hosted by the Mayor and Mayoress, Councillor Stan Cain and Mrs Sheila Cain, where they were joined by TS Manxman cadets.

The crew had raised £1500 for the Mayor's charities by 11 members going on a sponsored cycle challenge that took in the TT course.
