Douglas Carnival has been licked into shape as organisers reveal their latest scoop – a competition for the island’s primary school children to come up with a flavour for the official Douglas Carnival ice cream.
The idea’s been whipped up in partnership with Davison’s Ice Cream to add to the atmosphere on Saturday July 19th when the ‘cone-ival’ comes to
The competition will be judged by the Mayor of Douglas, Councillor Stan Cain, and the class from the winning school will all receive a free ice cream when the Davison’s Ice Cream van comes to call.
Town centre manager Michelle O’Malley said: ‘Thanks to Davison’s Ice Cream we’ve been able to churn up yet another great idea for the carnival.’
