Mayor judges Anagh Coar's Got Talent

It's official. Anagh Coar's Got Talent. The school's talent show has revealed a wealth of young stars in a show organised by the Friends of Anagh Coar School held on Thursday April 11 and judged by Her Worship the Mayor of Douglas Councillor Carol Malarkey JP, together with Ballakermeen High School deputy headteacher Keith Winstanley and chair of Anagh Coar School School governors Tracey Martin.

Eight acts  - all planned and rehearsed in the children's own time - featured in the contest that was compered by David Cretney MHK. 

 

Third place went to Gary Burns, dancing and singing to Michael Jackson’s Thriller; second place to Emily Bridson who sang Any Dream Will Do from the musical Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat and first place was awarded to Izzy Scarffe and Jake Dunsmore who danced a jive to Candyman by Christina Aguilera (in home-made costumes by Jake’s mum).
