Summerhill Hill has, once again, been transformed into a magical winter wonderland over Christmas, thanks to the creativity and ingenuity of the electrical services section at Douglas Borough Council.
For the 2013-2014 winter season the team installed additional decorative lighting and 25 'fairy doors' of mixed designs attached to trees along the main path, built three seats in-house out of recycled oil drums, created 10 coloured lights, also in-house, from waste material and plastic bottles, and improved access to the glen from Summerhill Road.
There's still time to see the show - it's on until the end of the first week in January.
