Calendar Girls' 'date' at the Town Hall

The cast and crew of the GaietyTheatre production of Calendar Girls 2020 had a 'date' with the Mayor and Mayoress, COuncillor Jon Joughin JP and Mrs Angela Joughin, on Friday 16th October.

The play is based on a true story of a group of middle-aged Yorkshire women who produced a 'tastefully posed' calendar to raise money for cancer research under the auspices of the Women's Institutes in April 1999 and became international celebrities.
