Crowds in their hundreds congregated on North Quay on Thursday November 21 for the Christmas lights switch-on ceremony sponsored by Manx Telecom for the second successive year. After live entertainment the Mayor switched on the lights, 'snow' fell, fireworks were fired and Christmas officially came to the capital.
