The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company is to sponsor Douglas Borough Council’s Noble’s Park Fun Day on Saturday August 3.

Regeneration and Community Chair Councillor Stephen Pitts said: ‘We are very grateful to the Steam Packet Company for their support of the 2019 Fun Day. This partnership is especially welcome this year as their sponsorship will contribute to the Council’s plans to expand the range of attractions of this perennially popular family event, given that we are unable to stage the Douglas Carnival while work to regenerate Douglas promenade proceeds.

‘Thanks to the Steam Packet Company and the hard work of our officers and staff the enhanced format of this year’s Fun Day will ensure a truly memorable family day out.’

Isle of Man Steam Packet Company Chief Executive Mark Woodward said: ‘The Noble’s Park Fun Day attracts people from all over the island and is a really enjoyable community event. We are pleased to support it and look forward to the festivities.’

Noble’s Park Fun Day is on Saturday August 3 from 1 to 5pm.
