The Hon Leona Roberts, a Member of the Falkland Islands Legislative Assembly, was a guest of His Worship the Mayor on Wednesday April 17.
Mrs Roberts was on a study visit to the Island, arranged by the Clerk of Tynwald's Office, during which she met with Members of Tynwald and government officials. At the town hall she was accompanied by the second clerk of Tynwald Jonathan King, During their visit His Worship outlined the history of Douglas Corporation and explained the functioning of the present-day Council.
