More than 60 vintage motor bikes were displayed on the North Quay in Douglas on Friday August 24, an opportunity for His Worship, who has a keen interest in vintage bikes, and the Mayoress to inspect the machines and meet the owners, all of whom were members of the Vintage Motor Cycle Club (VMCC).

After the bikes were inspected and a winning machine selected, the VMCC guests made their way to the town hall for afternoon tea and to wish VMCC member Steve Leonard a happy (albeit one day late) 70th birthday.
