3FM has been appointed media partner to Douglas Borough Council for three community events in 2018.

The broadcaster will provide promotional services for Noble’s Park Fun Day on Saturday August 4, the fireworks display on Friday November 2 and the Christmas lights switch-on ceremony on Thursday November 22.

Chair of the Regeneration and Community Committee Councillor Stephen Pitts said: ‘These are three of the Council’s largest community events, so demand an accomplished media partner. 3FM is well known for engaging successfully with the community and promoting events in innovative ways that help to capture the public’s attention and attract the crowds. It is for these reasons that we are pleased to have the support and media partner expertise of 3FM for these three events.’

3FM’s sales director Tony Palmer said: ‘We are delighted to have been chosen to work once again with Douglas Borough Council as their media partner for their 2018 events.
