The Mayor has hosted a reception for members of the Hillside Avenue social club. Her Worship explained: 'I belonged to the club as a youngster as my grandmother lived in Hillside. The club's run and organised by Willie Kneale (pictured back row, extreme left), supported by many of the other residents. Sadly, though, the club is disbanding due to the group's average age. The reception in the parlour was the group's final official outing. It will be sad for the club to come to end: we used to have so many great days out.'
