The Mayor's programme of events stepped up several gears in the run-up to Christmas with a visit to Santa's grotto and toy drop-off point in the Strand Centre, supported by 3FM and Pokerstars, and another to inspect the ice scultpure in Strand Street - the Wi-Manx Express - sponsored by Wi-Manx and created by husband and wife award-winning ice carvers Steph and Darren Jackson.
