The Mayor switched on the Christmas lights at Sunnydale Residential Home on Wednesday December 6 and launched the home's 'Don't be Lonely at Christmas' campaign. The Stanley View, Douglas home is offering any older person who is alone at Christmas to spend it with residents and staff and enjoy a traditional Christmas lunch.
Some of the home's residents would also be visiting Her Worship at the town hall in a few days' time.
