The Mayor has hosted a reception for Suzanne and John Robinson and their children, Harry, 12 and Niamh, 17.
Mrs Robinson, neé Brown, used to represent the Isle of Man at swimming and her daughter, Niamh, has also swum in the Isle of Man team and is hoping to represent the Island once more.
Mr and Mrs Robinson took the opportunity of their visit to the Isle of Man to have their marriage blessed in Laxey.
