A short ceremony was held on Wednesday August 2 in the Kaye Memorial Garden in memory of the 50 people who perished in the Summerland fire disaster on August 2 1973. Her Worship led the proceedings and was joined by Council Members, officers and members of the public. Prayers were offered by the Rev John Coldwell.
