Clare Christian OBE was the guest speaker at a fundraising lunch hosted by the Mayor and Maoyoress at University College Isle of Man.
The former President of Tynwald chose for the title of her talk 'Women in the House' which focused on women who had served in the House of Keys and revealed their number to be just 17.
She is pictured with the Mayor and Mayoress and President of Tynwald the Hon Steve Rodan MLC.
The lunch was in aid of the Mayoress's charity appeal, supporting Anthony Nolan Isle of Man, Manx Decaf and Naseem's Manx Brain Tumour Charity.
