Making waves: Mayoral visit to Douglas lifeboat station

His Worship the Mayor, Councillor John Skinner JP and the Mayoress, Mrs Gill Skinner toured Douglas lifeboat station before joining the crew on exercise. The session took them from Douglas to Ramsey, during which the Mayoress took the wheel the entire sailing north, where they teamed up with the Ramsey lifeboat crew who outlined their search procedures and where the mayoral party joined the crew for a series of towing exercises before returning to Douglas.
