The Mayor and Mayoress, Councillor John Skinner JP and Mrs Gill Skinner, have hosted a reception for participants, sponsors and supporters of Douglas Carnival. 

Prizes for all categories were sponsored by the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company Limited and the event's official media partner was Manx Radio.
