The Mayor and Mayoress hosted a classical afternoon tea in the Council chamber of Douglas Town Hall in aid of the mayoral charity appeal attended by His Excellency the Lieutenant Governor, Sir Richard Gozney, and his wife, Lady Diana Gozney.

Entertainment was provided by 4Tissimo and a display of jewellery was shown by Charles Alexander.
The three charities to benefit from the 2016-2017 mayoral charity appeal are Anthony Nolan Isle of Man; Manx Decaf, which supports those living with Alzheimer’s disease, their families and carers; and Naseem’s Brain Tumour charity.
