The Mayor and Mayoress, Councillor John Skinner JP and Mrs Gill Skinner, together with Councillor Raina Chatel, were among guests at an afternoon tea at St George's Church.

Arranged by the ladies of St George's Church and organised by Margaret Rattigan, the tea was in aid of Manx charity Manx Decaf, which supports those with memory problems and their carers.
The charity is one of three causes chosen by the Mayor and Mayoress to benefit from the 2016-2017 mayoral charity appeal. The others are Anthony Nolan Isle of Man and Naseem's Brain Tumour charity.
