Douglas raises flag in celebration of Commonwealth Day 2016

The Borough of Douglas was among communities across the Commonwealth supporting ‘Fly a Flag for the Commonwealth 2016’ on Commonwealth Day, Monday March 14 when Her Worship the Mayor, Councillor Sara Hackman JP, raised the Commonwealth flag in the garden adjacent to Douglas Town Hall at the corner of Lower Ridgeway Street and Lord Street in the company of the mayoress, Councillor Carol Malarkey, Council members and officers.
