Reception for retiring assistant borough librarian

Her Worship the Mayor, Councillor Sara Hackman JP, hosted a reception on Monday June 29 for assistant borough librarian Sue Caley to mark her retirement after 45 years' service.

Her Worship said Mrs Caley had been instrumental in adapting and modernising the library's services and had been 'an enthusiastic participant' in the introduction of modern technology and that her 45 years' service to the Council was 'a very impressive achievement.
