Pitches are available for Douglas Borough Council’s Noble’s Park Fun Day on Saturday August 1st.
Commercial enterprises and businesses such as operators of bouncy castles and children’s rides may hire a pitch for £10. Pitches for catering outlets, however, are fully subscribed. Pitches are available free of charge to registered charities and car boot sale holders, (stalls not provided).
Applications are also invited from local groups to provide entertainment during the event.
Regeneration and Community Committee Chairman Councillor John Skinner said: ‘This year the Council’s fun day is returning to its traditional “home” in Noble’s Park after it combined with Douglas Carnival in 2014. In this way we will be providing two large-scale family-focused community events in 2015. The Noble’s Park fun day is a great showcase opportunity for local businesses, charities, volunteer organisations and entertainers and we would urge people to reserve a space as early as possible.’
Noble’s Park Fun Day is on Saturday August 1st from 1 to 5pm.
All applications should be made by contacting Danielle Matthews. (See panel opposite).
