Manx Radio is to be the media partner for four of the capital’s largest community events this year, Douglas Borough Council has confirmed.
The broadcaster has entered into a partnership with the Council to provide media services for Douglas Carnival on Saturday July 18th, Noble’s Park Fun Day on Saturday August 1st, the fireworks display on Friday November 6th and the Christmas lights switching-on ceremony on Thursday November 26th.
Manx Radio’s commercial media executive Emma Dickenson said: ‘We are so pleased to be working with Douglas Council as their media partner for their events this year. They have some great plans for the fun day, carnival, fireworks and Christmas lights ceremony and, as the Nation’s Station, we are proud to be associated with them all.
