Welcoming them to the parlour His Worship took the opportunity, on behalf of his fellow Members of the Council, to acknowledge the commitment and hard work of the teams who had done much to transform the town centre: the parks section with their imaginative floral displays and the electrical services team for their input at the many community events staged by the Council, in particular the Christmas lights switch-on ceremony.
