Established in 1961 alongside the beautifully landscaped Gardens of Remembrance, Douglas City Crematorium is conveniently located in Douglas to serve communities across the Isle of Man.

In November 2014, the crematorium underwent extensive renovations, including the expansion and modernisation of the chapel, offices, and committal room, ensuring a comfortable and dignified environment for all visitors.

Our chapel is designed to accommodate larger services, with an additional room featuring a live media link to the main ceremony. To support families during this time, we offer a 30-minute service slot. The crematorium is fully accessible, with facilities including disabled access, accessible restrooms and a hearing loop system.

The Gardens of Remembrance are thoughtfully designed to harmonise with the surrounding landscape, providing a peaceful space for reflection. We offer a wide range of personalised memorial options. Our dedicated memorial staff are available by appointment to guide you through the selection process and provide a tour of the gardens, which are open every day of the year.
